Ladybugs Everywhere!

It's the end of the school year, and kids are getting a little buggy.

At Chopticon High School in Morganza, Maryland, a few high school seniors took that bugginess to the extreme.

They pulled off a senior prank that unleashed 72,000 ladybugs on the high school.

I'm sorry, that made me laugh.

It didn't make the school's administration laugh at all. In fact, one of the seniors involved wasn't allowed to walk the stage at graduation this week.

Watch the story, and weigh in on it. Is this such a heinous thing that it should stop a prankster from graduating from high school?

"Together, We Can Blow Up Anything"

Okay, I have to admit this.

I saw this video last week, and thought it was just a promo for some new Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.

But I just watched it again, and it turns out it's an invitation from Arnold to go to Los Angeles to spend some time with him, blowing stuff up.

It's a fundraiser through Omaze.com that will help raise money for after-school programs.

So yes, it will cost you to enter, but you'll be doing something good, and you could end up blowing stuff up with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

You game?

Jon Stewart, King of Analogies

The Daily Show covers all the hot topics of the day - with a trademark wit that will still be around (one hopes!) when Jon Stewart retires.

In the meantime, we can still enjoy the spin Jon puts on the news.

Like this story about the recent court ruling that the National Security Agency overstepped the Patriot Act in its phone data surveillance program.

Jon has the perfect analogy for the ruling.

I don't want to spoil the surprise, so check it out.

You know your surveillance program has gone too far when you cannot get permission from the Patriot Act. That's like getting thrown out of an Olive Garden for eating too many bread sticks." -- Jon Stewart? Watch the episode: http://on.cc.com/1J5b0mq

Heartwarming & Funny

Every once in a while, the early rounds of America's Got Talent produces some genuine gems.

This is one of those.

Drew Lynch has a stutter, but that's not holding him back from following his dream to be a comedian.

Watch his story, watch his act, and tell me you're not touched.

And you'll be floored by what Howie Mandel does for him.

Next Up: The Death Star Building?

The new offices of Chinese on-line game developer NetDragon Websoft are out of this world.

Well, not literally, but close.

The company spent close to $160 million - including licensing fees - to build a headquarters that looks like the USS Enterprise - the one you know from the Star Trek movies.

Check out the video from IGN News. It really is pretty incredible.

Congratulations, You're a Piglet

The actors from Game of Thrones are piling up the honors.

Here's one that may leave them scratching their heads a bit, though.

The folks at the Detroit Zoo this week unveiled four of five warthog piglets born there in April.

The video shows Daenerys, Sansa, Cersei and Hodor playing in their enclosure.

Tyrion, the runt of the litter, wasn't quite big enough for public display yet.

Sounds about right...

Jonny Quest Going Live?

In the 1960s, the folks at Hanna-Barbera produced an animated series called Jonny Quest about the adventures of a boy scientist.

It featured Jonny and his dog Bandit, his friend Hadji, his dad and their all-around tough guy, Race Bannon.

It only lasted a couple of seasons, but it spawned a few attempts at being remade.

And now, Robert Rodriguez (of Sin City fame, among others) is teaming up with a screenwriter from Pirates of the Caribbean to come up with a live action movie.

If this were 30 years ago, Johnny Depp would make the perfect Jonny Quest... That doesn't mean he won't be playing it now, of course.

Doctor Bon Jovi, I Presume?

"I sat down and wrote you a song."

That's the gift Jon Bon Jovi gave to graduates at the Camden campus of Rutgers University.

The university conferred the honorary degree of Doctor of Letters, and as part of his subsequent commencement address, he picked up his guitar.

The song, called "Reunion," urged graduates "to go start your own revolution, and I'll see you at the reunion."

It was the first time it was ever performed in front of an audience.

I can see it getting played a lot more, can't you?
