Ronnie is starstruck & amazed by the fact that Jesse has been on the show before, I think thats why Ronnie always listens to him.
I don't know if Ronnie watched last season.. but jesse DID NOT win. Probably not the best person to be listening to.
He's digging himself in a bigger grave by listening to Jesse.
