Twilight (Rated PG-13)
Gavin Grade: D+
Ironic this movie is about vampires because it really sucked. The one saving grace about this movie based off of the best-selling Stephenie Meyer book series, is that it's based off of the best-selling Stephenie Meyer book series. By that I mean the only thing this movie has going for it is the story. I must confess that I haven't read the books, but I think I might want too. I want to see where this story goes, but I'm not sure I can sit through another movie. Everything about it felt like a high-budgeted Made for TV movie. The special effects were piss poor, the acting was stale and the directing was miserable. Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella in the movie, performs as if she has some sort of twitch. Robert Pattinson, who you may remember as Cedric Digory in the Harry Potter series, does a decent job despite having a crap script to work with and staying upright with such a massive head. I would say that if you've never read the book, avoid this movie and read it; but if you have read the book, still avoid this movie and read the book again.
I have to agree with you Gavin. The movie was poorly directly and way to short. I have to admit that I really enjoyed the books and finished the series. The book and the movie are actually really different and parts of the book I believed should have been in there weren't. I hope "New Moon" will be alot better, but we will see!
hey Gavin... First i wud lyk 2 say dat... i luv u guys!! lol.. but anyway... um.... i agree w/ u!! i first read da book.. and i thought that "Edward" wasnt all that great of an actor. It didnt seem lyk that had much of a chemistry between each other!! I really luv the books!! But i thik they shud do a bettr job w/ directin!!!
Thx 4 ur opinion.!!! lol i will b listenin!! lol
Gavin i would have to diagree. i read the book and the movie was so much better!!! you should have given a better grade then a D . to me i think that i should have gotten an A -.
the movie and books are actually very good and robert pattinson was very good but kristin really could have been better and there wasnt much chemistry
i have to disagree with u gavin cuase i am reading the book and have seen the movie and it was very good srrry
it dezervs at least a B
I disagree.. I can see where you are coming from... but idk if a D is the right grade... I'm not sure if its because i love the books so much that i just automatically like the movie or if i really do just like the movie.. (and Robert Pattinson :D) I think that the person that played Bella had the look that i imagined bella to have but i really didn't like her acting skills it was just kinda.. off....w/e Thanks!
P.s. ---> Robert Pattinson doesn't have a big head!! haha :P
lol I see where you're coming from Gavin... but there are several things to keep in mind. 1 - the movie's budget was extremely low for the effects you're looking for. "New Moon" should be much better especially with a different director. (I agree with you, Hardewick was not made for this kind of movie.) 2 - Kristin Stewart's approach to acting is very different from most actors. I recently saw in an interview that she wants to portray real life hesitation before speaking, and clumsiness with words, otherwise it's not realistic to have reactions so fast or words incredibly right to a question just asked. It is irritating, but if you look at it from that perspective it's quite lovely. 3 - Robert Pattinson does not have a big head. He could bulk up though ;) and finally 4 - you SHOULD read the books. or Stacy and I will make you listen to audio CDs again :)
i dont think they cast the right actress for bella kristen did look like she had a twitch the whole time and she cant act but robert pattinson was gold he is a fabulous actor and the books are much better than the movie they have way more life and quality
I totally disagree with you, Read the books,each actor and actress did an AMAZING job doing their character,and Catherine Hardewicke did a great job directing this movie!
wow, let me just say, that i really gasped out loud when I saw your rating! First off I´m like a super super super huge twilight fan. but you know what got me into it? THE MOVIE! My friend and I went to the movies and we figuered we watch it cuz everyone was talking about it though we didn´t know what it was. We both came out of that theatre AMAZED! It was one of the best movies (at least the plot) I´d seen in a long time. The actors were weird a bit. It was still good. And then I read the books. the books are so so much better! usually depending if you see the movie first or read the books first you like whichever you did or saw better. but no the books were better because in the movie the characters personalities are completly changed and that kiss scene was so weird! who kisses like that? even a vampire! But read the books. I´ve already re-read the series literally about 15 times and seen the movie like 24 times. Amazing! plus they like didn´t care for how stephenie meyer described her own characters! they did their own thing. Rosalie´s hair should be longer, they should sparkle better, bella´s hair is suppose to be naturally straight and she´s suppose to wear not flattering clothing except for the one shirt. alice should look more like a kid and so much more! once I read the books that really annoyed me! and sorry that i had so much to say on this subject. you ask me anything, ANTHING about twilight and i know the answer. also anthing can make me think about twilight! even the color brown or a light post! thanks.
gavin i love you guys but i would have to diagree this movie was awsome i loved it you could have given it a better grade than a D.maybe an A :)
The loan seem to be essential for people, which want to organize their company. In fact, it's not very hard to receive a financial loan.
