I’m Jason! What’s up Sacramento? I guess if you’re here, you want to know something about me. Let’s start with the basic/early info. I’m originally from the East Coast. I grew up in a town called Bridgewater, New Jersey. When I was 24, I first moved out West. Translation? I was working at a radio station in New Jersey and after I got fired, I moved (West) to another radio station in Pennsylvania.
I spent the first eight years of my radio career as the guy on the radio at night. I’m not sure why, but at some point, I thought it would be a good idea to try being the “boss.” Actually, I know why I made that decision. It was because I worked for a guy that was a big time jackass. I figured, if this guy can be a boss, so could I. Not that I’m a jackass…which I’m sure Kelly and Gavin will dispute, but it’s that I knew I could be a better boss than the guy I was working for. Does that make sense?
Somehow, I actually convinced a small radio station to hire me as the boss! It was crazy! They actually trusted me to RUN an entire radio station. I guess it worked out ok because over the next five years, I ran three different radio stations and actually got moved to Harrisburg, PA to help launch a new station.
It was at this point in my life that I was diagnosed with ADD.
Suddenly, my life made a lot of sense! I finally understood the reason why I could never seem to stop the giant pile of papers from building on my desk. I also figured out why I was always 5 minutes late to meetings…why I couldn’t stay focused long enough to finish most conversations…why multitasking for me included talking on the phone, typing an e-mail, and reading a magazine at the same time…WHILE AT WORK!!!
The “suits” decided that they didn’t think I was the right kind of guy to run a radio station, so they gave me my own morning radio show to host. In typical ADD fashion, I looked around like I was confused, and found Kelly who was working in a different part of their building. Then I saw Gavin walk by on an office I was sitting in….I hired him…and a new morning radio show was born.
I should share some info about my personal life. My wife Marisa and I have been married since August of 2005. We have one “daughter”…our Jack Russell Terrier named Maizee who will turn 6 this summer. Oh and before I get e-mails about it, Maizee is spelled with two E’s because it’s cute.
In my free time, I watch pro wrestling, UFC and other MMA. Some of my favorite movies are…Airplane, Pulp Fiction, American Beauty, almost any good romantic comedy, the Before Sunrise/Before Sunset duo (highly recommended and very underrated). I also love stand up comedy and I’m thinking about taking the stage in Sacramento…if the mood strikes.
One last thing…I’ve got really pale skin. I’m here in Sacramento, but I’m not exactly sure how my pale white skin is going to react to the powerful Sacramento sunshine. So, if you see me in public, and the sun causes me to burst into flames…please put me out.

I live with my husband Brandon, and our miniature English Bulldog named Laguna. We got her from the Humane Society, a great place to get a pet if you are in the market. I named our dog that because she LOVED watching Laguna Beach on Mtv when it was on. I think it's because there lots of hot guys on that show. If you call underage teens that have too much money and complain about getting a Audi instead of a Benz hot.
Anyway you can hear "Kelly's Celebrity Sleaze" ten past the hour every day where I dish all the crazy things that celebrities are doing. Plus you can hear Jason and Gavin make fun of them too, if you're not a fan of celebrities. I love to hear from ANYONE, lovers, haters, and everyone in the middle so reach out and I will hit ya back! I’ll be honest with you, I can’t stand writing about myself, but if you’ve gone through this much effort to be reading this, then that means you want to know something about me…so I’ll humor you.
I was born in Philadelphia but grew up in Hershey, PA. Yeah, that’s where they make the chocolate. Before you ask, yes the town does smell like chocolate. The ironic part is that I can’t stand chocolate and hate that smell because I associate it with football practice because that’s all I could smell when I was bent over suffocating on the field. I went to college in NYC at Wagner College and double majored in English and Film. This was because I really wanted to be an English Teacher and write screenplays on the side. I guess by now you can tell that I got sidetracked somewhere along the way. But I’m still a HUGE movie freak. Jason calls me a “movie snob” but he only says that because I enjoy seeing all kinds of movies from major Hollywood blockbusters to small, foreign, indie movies that nobody cares about. If you’re ever up for a challenge…try to stump me on movie trivia. I’m not perfect but I’m pretty damn good.
I live with my girlfriend and our two cats. They’re brother and sister and named Annie and Holden. Annie was named after “Little Orphan Annie” since we got them from the Humane Society and Holden was named after “Holden Caulfield” from “The Catcher in the Rye.” I love going to concerts, bars, football games…too bad we have The 49ers and The Raiders to choose from in this area (Ohhhh!)
