Where the fireworks at?

Hey everyone!  Looking for some fireworks on the 4th?  Here are some choices for ya: Cal Expo: The biggest fireworks show in the area!  They begin at 9:30pm.  Live music by the United States Air Force Band of Travis AFB starts at 7:00pm.  Doors open at 6 p.m. Free admission, $10 parking. (916) 263-3247 for info! Carmichael 4th of July Parade: begins at Marconi Avenue and Fair Oaks Boulevard and follows to Cypress and Manzanita avenues, 10:30 a.m. live music, swimming and games. Carmichael Elks Lodge, 5631 Cypress Ave. (916) 489-2103. Carmichael Fireworks: Music, food, kid’s zone featuring inflatable’s, crafts, puppet show.  Begins at 7:00 p.m at the La Sierra Community Center, 5325 Engle Road. Free admission. (916) 485-5322 Rancho Cordova: Hagan Park will host 2 days of family fun with a carnival Sunday and Monday, and a 4th of July parade beginning at 10:00am on Monday.  $2, kids under 5 are free. $10 parking. Roseville: Festivities happen at Royer Park in Roseville and begin with a parade at 10:00AM on music from Capitol Pops Concert Band at 12:00PM. Events include a fun run and children’s activities with music and a fireworks show at 9:30PM at the Placer County Fairgrounds. Elk Grove: Elk Grove Regional Park will host live music, kids activities, food & drink vendors beginning at 6:00PM, and a fireworks show at 9:30PM. Cameron Park: Arts and crafts, children’s rides and games, live music, fireworks at 9:15 p.m. Opens at 3p.m. Cameron Park Lake, 2989 Cambridge Road. $3 advance, $5 at door. (530) 677-2231 Columbia 4th of July celebration: Flag raising and firing of cannon by Columbia Foot Dragons, 11 a.m. parade noon, live music, and old fashion contest for all ages at 11:00 a.m. Columbia State Historic Park, 11175 Washington St. Columbia. Free (209)536-1672 And another fun event in the area this weekend: Folsom Pro Rodeo:  fireworks, freestyle motocross, traditional rodeo events and mutton busting 7 p.m. at the Dan Russell Rodeo  Arena, 200 Stafford St. Folsom $19.50- $24.50 general, $15 seniors and children ages 12 and younger.
