Man Convicted For Having Sex With 13-Year-Old Girl Who Said She Was 18
Orange County, FL (AHN) -- A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to a year in jail and five years probation after having sex with a 13-year-old girl who told him she was 18.
The girl did the same thing a year prior, when she was 12, and lied about her age to a 24-year-old man who was sentenced to five years in prison for having sexual relations with the minor.
Alisha Dean advertises herself on her Myspace page as 19 and divorced. The page has been marked private since the sentencing Tuesday, but one report said there is footage of Dean dancing and "shaking her womanly booty like she's working the pole."
WFTV News reported that Morris Williams had sex with Dean when he thought she was of legal age, but when her behavior tipped him off that she may have been younger than she said, he went to Dean's father who told Williams his daughter was only 13. Dean's father then called the police.
According to WFTV her family said she still stays out late. Another report stated that the Myspace page was only taken down the day after Morris was convicted.

I can see where Kelly is coming from but how many people do you know that have a fake id. I do not agree that these guys should have gone to jail for this on the account that a young adult lied to them. If you are going to meet someone off the internet you should invite them to a club or that kind of environment so they can get id and if they have a fake that will send off a red flag.

I wish I could call in to talk. That subject about the 13yr old girl is over & beyond a child needing her ass whooped. Her father needs to be knocked upside his head. That girl knows dam well what she is doing. I have a 14yr daughter & if she was anything like that girl I would hang her. The 1st time can barely slide but the 2nd time come on now. The judge should of fined her parents for being so stupid & the daughter for being a hoe. I have to disagree with Kelly because the man went to her father & fussed up. He shouldn’t of received jail time for this girl being a hoe. Asking for an ID is out the question. There are stalkers out there & getting the address off the ID will be a risk. (for normal people that is).

Jason & Gavin, I agree with you;
I think that the guy should have only got community service, because he did break a law unknowingly but did break it, (kinda like tossing a banana peal out your car window) BUT the girl should have been fined or gotten some sort of legal trouble also.
1. she lied
2. there is evidence of her lies- Her myspace page!
And her parents should also be in trouble! I don't know, curfew comes to mind or just being a parent and looking after your kids!
And the fact that this is her second offense! That's just crap! And the guy who went to her dad to tell him what she was doing; good for him he actually did a "grown up" move there and tried to something right out of this situation.
Kelly, I think you're great, but the blame can not solely be put on the men who fell for the girls lies. The fact is she lied, she is openly lying with a myspace page, and this is her second time, that we know of….. This girl also deserves to be punished by some sort of law/legal action.
Thanks you guys! You're great!

This story is pretty screwed up, but I have to say that I agree with Kelly on it. I know you guys are outraged on behalf of your gender because the girl lied, BUT the entire reason that we have laws against 18+ having sex with minors is that the ADULT is expected to have better judgment. Especially at an age like 13, where teenagers think it's funny and cool to trick adults into doing things, the adult is supposed to be more responsible and aware of possible problems. It's not like this is the first time a guy has been tricked by a girl claiming to be older - the reason they ALWAYS get prosecuted is that they should have been more diligent - ignorance of a fact does not lessen your culpability, just as ignorance of the law is not an acceptable defense.
I'm not trying to say that the girl isn't totally screwed up, and that her parents obviously have issues. The guy was trying to rectify the wrong that he did and he got burned for it...but he still did the dirty deed, so he's still responsible.
Checking ID may not be romantic and a "mood killer," but if it keeps you safe, who cares? These days LOTS of girls look older, so it's a precaution that is smart. If the guy is more worried about getting laid than about being responsible, he needs a reality check. Besides, what's so romantic about hooking up with a girl from the internet for the night? Safe sex isn't just about using contraceptives, it includes knowing a little about your partner...for example, does she have an STD? That's not romantic, but it's a question you should be asking as well. Romance vs. responsibility and self protection...really, is it even a debate?
