Welcome to my incredible bio lol!!! I'm not very good at these sooo...I'll keep this short and sweet. My name's Alecia. In July I moved to Sacramento from Tampa, Florida (yes waaaaay over on the East coast). My three loves in life are my family, friends, and of course MUSIC!!! Oh! Here's a brief career history if you're a radio junkie like me. I got my start at 93.3 FLZ in Tampa as an intern doing everything from picking up dry cleaning and rolling t-shirts to buying my co-workers' love with Subway cookies (mmmm...yum) lol. I was hooked from that moment on! After about 10 months of that, I got HIRED!!! I began board oping and working in promotions, as well as doing weekends. Then I got very lucky and was hired for my first full-time gig doing middays at Q102 in Philly! It was an awesome ride:) I made some great friends and even crazier memories! That's pretty much it! Yo! Ok I have decided to conquer my fear of dancing in public while raising money for the GO RED for Women campaign by competing in Arthur Murray's Sacramento's Dancing with the Stars! It's basically a local version of the tv show. It's super fun, but of course I'll be a nervous wreck when it boils down to the big event lol. My partner, Kevin, is awesome and is teaching me so much! If you want to attend Sac's Dancing with the Stars or maybe take up some dance classes of your own, click the pic below.
