Giant Siberian Crater Caused by...
You probably heard about the gigantic crater that opened up in the Yamal Peninsula in Siberia not too long ago.
It was suddenly there – a hole about 100 feet across and very deep – and no one really knows where it came from. Meteor strike? Aliens escaping from the center of the planet?

Scientists have now developed a theory. The crater, they theorize, was caused by the release of methane from the bowels of the earth.
In other words, Earth farted.
It’s not all fun and games. The release may have been caused by global warming, and it’s the type of gas that contributes to global warming.
Lighting a match to cover it up will not do the trick.
