Give the gift of life this Valentine's Day. The Blood and Water Event, a Girl Scout Gold Event, is set for Saturday, February 11, 9am to 2pm at the Bear Creek Community Church, 11171 North Lower Sacramento Road, between Lodi and Stockton. Adults can donate blood for the local Delta Blood Bank, and the whole family can contribute to the drilling of freshwater wells by participating in a recycling drive to benefit Bear Creek Water.
