If youâve started keeping a keen eye out for oriental pieces, then your next step is learning how to style them. Â Itâs all about subtlety, not stepping out of the house looking like youâre headed to a costume party dressed as a Geisha. A pretty good start is incorporating simple flowing silks and fluttering kimonos, styled with the right degree of subtlety, rounded out by fresh orchids as hair accessories and a beauty look thatâs softly exotic yet very much played down.
This is a sweet and flattering trend that we will be seeing a lot this year.

If you are using an at home waxing kit, you may have found that some of the waxing strips are WAY too big for the area you are waxing.
A great way to avoiding wasting strips and having a little more control over the areas you are waxing is by cutting your strips down to the right size.
This can also be done with self heating wax strip and is incredibly helpful when you are doing your upper lip and eye brows.
Next time hit the tanning salon⦠have a cocktail. NO I am not talking about an adult beverage I am talking about a tanning cocktail...One part bed tanning, one part sunless tan. By bed tanning first, you give your pores a chance to open up and absorb the sunless solutionâ¦
This is a great way to make your sunless tan last almost twice as long as well as giving yourself an even more natural look.
As always, wash your hands and feet immediately after sunless tanning.
It's still plenty hot outside... which means tank top season is still in full swing. But if you have large arms or just FEEL like you have large arms there are definitely do's and donts when it comes to picking out the perfect tank for you. A tank with large straps (that go the length of your shoulder) can actually make your arms look bigger. A tank with less material over the shoulder will offer more definition to your arm... another flattering look is a racer back tank.
There is nothing more annoying than trying on a million different clothes only to realize that the problem is not the clothes, but your tummy. It can be hard to find things that hide your tummy but at the same time looks good too, so here are a few suggestionsâ¦
A Banded Top
Banded tops are shirts that have a band at the hemline which is great for covering a tummy bulge.
Wrap Dresses and Shirts
Wrap dresses and wrap shirts are excellent for hiding your tummy pouch. Choose them  in colorful patterned styles since the eye will be drawn away from the problem area.
And Get the Right Fit
Stick to your size and your body structure. Wearing something too small and too tight will only accentuate the problem and wearing something that is too large for you will only make it obvious that youâre trying to hide something. Instead, stick to a happy medium: your true size!
I know itâs not polite to talk about⦠but some people are sweaters. You might be one of the unlucky souls that can break a sweat under your arms in even the iciest of temperatures⦠which is not only unflattering⦠it limits you on what you can wear.
Here is a tip....
Put deodorant on at night, too. That way, it will have plenty of time to absorb into your skin and start working... In the morning, shower and swipe on another coat as you normally would.
Your pits should be good to go.
Stripes have been showing up in all shapes and sizes this season demonstrating their versatility all the runways and on our favorite stars.Â
Get the look yourself be pairing a vertical striped top with a pair of wide leg jeans for a nautical look or get two trends in one by rocking a maxi dress in graduated stripes to show off your '70s spirit.
If you're looking for a simpler style, pair a striped sweater with a neutral colored pant or denim skirt.
So whatâs in store for the fall seasons in womanâs fashion? Seventies fashion remains high on the list of carry-over trends, taking with it flares and wide-leg pants; while on the tough side, biker and punk follow through to the next season.  Bootsare going to be HUGE this coming fall and winter and you canât have too many different styles and colors. Everything from wedges⦠to lace ups⦠you are going to wear boots with just about everything so you want to have variety.
I've told you about Sally Hanson effects... those are the nail polish strips that have dozens of different patterns and you can just peel off and stick them on. Well there is another way to utilize these fun nail accessories. Paint your nails in what ever color you prefer using standard wet nail polish. Then use the Sally Hanson effects on just the tips of your nails. You can achieve this look by cutting a strip from the Effects and placing it at the edge of your nail... then file off any extra material. This will give you the look of a fun and funky french manicure... and you can do it right at home.
While we've shown some serious love for leopard print in the past year, this summer a new animal pattern is stealing the spotlight: snakeskin! The vast majority of people canât pull this print off head to toe.  The key to this look is to pair the shoe with solid colors, so as to not compete with the pattern. And while a neutral outfit looks perfectly lovely, to really make the look sing of summer... don't be afraid of punching up the color with a bright hue or even an orange.
